I love Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834 - 1892) ......the Prince of Preachers. Here's a documentary on him, shared tonight by the Blue Letter Bible blog. Spurgeon's sermons and books are legendary and theologically sound - a far cry from MOST of what we hear today.
Thank you very much for posting this Biographical Documentary on Spurgeon. For a one hour video production, I found it pretty well done, quite accurate, and its dialogue was taken very much from Spurgeon's own writings. I have already passed the link on to several other people who I know will enjoy it, too. So thanks very much again.
ReplyDeleteSince you like Spurgeon so much, can I take a liberty to suggest a site to you that you may find of some interest? Here's the link:

Don't worry, the site is not exactly what you might think from the name. It is, in fact, the most unique use of Christian quotation on the internet, arranged in a conversational format in a way that has never been done before, and designed to make people think. The site explains itself, and you can search for Spurgeon by name, and also tour the sitemap where you will find links to all the posts on the site listed by category. We usually post three times a week.
