Happy 60th Israel!

In a few days the land of Israel will celebrate its 60th birthday. Lest you find that merely an interesting historical fact or that God had nothing to do with it, you should know that on that date........May 14th, 1948, Israel, against all odds and unlike any other disbursed or destroyed nation (before or since) in the history of man, became a country again.

Amos 9 speaks in part of this then prophecy, ending this way:
"I will also plant them on their land, And they will not again be rooted out from their land Which I have given them," Says the LORD your God.

Israel is very much still the apple of God's eye (Zechariah 2:8-9) and He still blesses those who bless Israel (Genesis 12:2-4).

This was thanks to the Lord, not any man-made effort or decree. Man cannot thwart God's plan.
